"Database as symbolic form" - Lev Manovich
From what I understood from this particular text, is that Manovich discusses databases. First off he starts by introducing the different types of databases that exist. The possibilities related to databases are infinite. Many are being introduced into our daily lives without society even noticing. I've read so many texts on this topic that I wasn't necessarily surprised with the wide range of existing databases. But it's always interesting to learn more about them and their purposes in today's society.
