I thought the part about the computational models for type very interesting. It gives a brief but explanatory over-view on the history of type, evolving from simple clay sculptures, preceding to stone and then metal. Thus we take for granted typography and letter form almost every day. As we sit in front of our computers we always go for the same type; Times New Roman or Arial for example. We don't actually take the time to think about all others that might have a greater impact on what we use the type for. The article discuses the new type forms that have been introduced not too long ago like Postscriped type I for example.

Type is not only a medium to write with but to experience something much greater (interactive pieces, like print or video) The article goes into greater detail as it discusses hypertext which is text displayed on a computer or other electronic device with references to other text that the reader can immediately access. This creates a very broad and vast opening when dealing with interactive pieces.

Letterscapes for me was very interesting as it deals with vast color schemes, textures and letter forms (shapes). One piece alone might not speak by itself as much as the 20 all together. It creates a nice environment that surrounds and embelishes one another.
